AFC Hornchurch

It was game two of three against Billericay Town for the young URCHINS as they will face them again in the League cup Semi Final next year.

On this wet and windy day the boys had to fight back from 2-0 down in the first half after playing some great football. But as said the Billericay team came out of the blocks in the first 20 minutes quickly and after two great finishes were 2- 0 up. Despite great pressure from the boys the ball would not go in.

So the half time team talk is keep going and the boys wanted to keep their unbeaten record in tact and boy did they with a spirited second half performance and a lucky first goal of Shemar Marshalleck and a last minute header from Sonny Scott ensured the boys kept the record in tact . WELL DONE BOYS

MAN OF THE MATCH : Tom Troubridge : Good Performance and hard work

Managers comments : A great first half to the season, I'm very pleased with the boys and the support from everyone. Long may it continue. The boys now have a well earned rest for 13 days which I'm sure they will come back stronger and stronger.
