Following the launch of the AFC Hornchurch football academy we held the first of our trials earlier this week on Tuesday 28th February.  Run by our Academy Manager and his coaches we had an excellent turnout on the day and followed up the trials event with a detailed presentation to players and parents on exactly what the academy offered and what we in turn expect from our prospective students.

Presentations were made by Alex Sharp, AFC Hornchurch club chairman; Ben Dixon, Academy Manager; Jon Burridge, Education; John Guyton, Youth Development Officer and Allan Pearce, U21 Manager, club director and Child Welfare Officer.

The second and final trial will be held in early April.  Date to be confirmed.
