The Urchins welcome Dulwich Hamlet to the Bridge on Tuesday evening for what should be a fascinating Ryman League Cup Quarter final tie.  Both teams come into the fixture on a good run of form and looking to progress to the semi-finals where Tonbridge Angels await.

Last time out Dulwich visited table toppers Bognor Regis and returned with a share of the spoils.  Hamlet led but the Rocks restored parity with just 5 minutes remaining.  In their previous league fixture they earned an excellent draw at high flying Leiston but their inconsistency has seen Dulwich drop to 9th place in the Ryman Premier though with games in hand they are well positioned to move back into the top 5.  Away from the league Hamlet have been performing superbly in the FA Trophy culminating in a 5-2 demolition of Vanarama National side Braintree Town.  Next up is a home Quarter Final tie with Macclesfield Town and we all wish Hamlet the best as they fly the Ryman flag.  In the Ryman League Cup Dulwich have dispatched Grays Athletic (4-0), Greenwich Borough (2-1) and Faversham Town (2-1) on route to the Quarter Finals.

Hornchurch are on a rich vein of form having lost just 1 of their last 24 Ryman fixtures (cup and league).  At the weekend they went to Great Wakering Rovers and returned with all 3 points in a 5-2 victory with Leon McKenzie scoring his 5th hat trick of the season, a club record.  Two of Leon’s hat tricks have come in this competition, a 4-1 win vs Haringey Borough and a similar score at Enfield Town.  The 3rd round pitted the Urchins against AFC Sudbury and the hosts came out on top with a goal 4 minutes from the end courtesy of Ross Wall.
